Default T-Mobile Release Date? - 07-01-2009, 06:12 PM

My corporate rep keeps saying any week now.

The best "real" date I've found online is August 5th which kinda sucks because I need devices now and don't want curves lol

Agreed! The 8900 is a great phone IMO.

the low cost is what i'm looking for

enterprise activated anyway with voice barred lines so don't need anything fancy but it'd be nice to have something that doesn't look as ancient as the 83xx series

I saw the 8520 on display/for sale at the Wal*Mart in Hanover, MD this evening! They had black and silver both displayed as dummy phones. Wasn't able to try the newfangled "optical trackpad" thing because A) the phones were non-functional dummy phones, and B) they were locked up under glass.

Gonna have to check a corporate-owned store soon and see if they have a live display sample.

For $48.00 you can have the BB 8520 (with a 2-year T-Mo service)
