Is Blackberry messenger 5.0 for the 8520 out there?


RIM 850, 957, 7210, 7290 (3), 8700g (2), 8100 (2), 8320 (5), 8220, 8900 and now 8520.

Probably not, but maybe the OS that you're using is similar to one that there is a bbm 5 for and you can be the "test subject" for the 8520.

I just downloaded the OTA BBM 5.0 for the 4.6.1 / Javelin and it seems to be working fine on my 8520 running .274

I've done the same, it works a treat. Some good features added like group chat and the ability to send the same message to multiple contacts

I typed in www.blackberry.com/messenger n downloaded the official release to my phone and works great.
