Unhappy Japanese Input on 8520? - 11-06-2009, 10:15 AM

okay i just bought my first blackberry,
i got a curve 8520.

i really like the phone cuz theres like so much you can do!

but im having hard time installing japanese Input.
ive searched webs regarding this but i have no luck finding the answer.

so my question is...

you download the ASIAN language pack from your service provider/blackberry site, correct?

and...

NOT all of the service provider download include Japanese, correct?

well i downloaded files from several service providers but none of them worked.
When I try to open the exe file, all of them says "error reading setup initilization file"

what I doing it wrong? i dont think it should be this hard!!

I am really stuck, I appriciate if someone could help me.....

thanks...

No.
Im not sure why its having problems, unless it was corrupted during the download.

So when the download is done and run the exe file, it should install?
I don't need to do anything with the desktop manager?

No.
It will install to your PC.
You then need to use desktop manager to install to the phone.
