I recently downloaded the messenger from blackberry app world and its all good except that whenever I try to send a picture to someone else with the new messenger also, it asks the recipient whether they want to save and then appears to try to transfer the file.

This takes forever and most of the time the file expires before being received.

If I receive and pic or send a pic to someone with an older version of messenger they receive it instantly and can view and save.

Is there any fix for this or do I have to go back to the old version as I tend to send and receive lots of images on messenger.

Does anyone know if the latest messenger release fixes this problem?

I understand that it allows you to view pics now (haven't tried it yet) but does it save them just as quickly as older version of messenger?
