Default Trying to send MMS Message

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8520 with ATT. I do not have a data plan but we do have the unlimited text messages and image messages and all that good stuff on our plan. Well I wanted to send pictures from my phone to my email. On my old phone it was very easy, just attach the picture and send it to the email address through a MMS messsage.

At first it wasn't working on the 8520, but then I turned back on the "data plan services" and I was able to send one. But now it won't send pictures again. The little option is on and everything. I'm not sure what is wrong.

When the pictures sent before, a couple little arrows would appear in the top right of the phone. The arrows don't appear when I try to send them now. Any suggestions?

What happens? Do you get a red X? Have you tried removing the battery for 30 seconds?

I'm not sure if this matters but I wasn't paying attention and put this in the wrong sub-forum. I have an 8320, not 8520. Just nothing happens though... just sits there and says it is still trying to send it. The network looks like it is strong and all that good stuff. Before when I would send a picture it would immediately pull up those arrows and they would flash on and off while it was sending it. It would take about 1 minute and it would be sent. No arrows anymore.

If you let it sit long enough, it should show an X eventually.

Show an X? Where it shows the message status or up in the top right on the home screen where it shows the network? Either way... what does that mean in regards to fixing it?

Normally, when a message can't send, in your messages folder, instead of seeing a check mark for sent messages, you will see a red X.

If you see that, open it up and there will be an error message next to status. That could go a long way in helping resolve your issue.

Also, have you tried a battery pull?
