Default BlackBerry Curve 8520 sync problems

Please Login to Remove!

I have just purchased my first BlackBerry, an 8520 curve and I'm very happy with it. My old phone is a Nokia 6120 that is 2 years old. I want to transfer over my contacts which had been synchronized with Outlook. I have since transferred the Address Book over to Thunderbird which does not appear in the list in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. I could try transferring via an ASCII file but I'm not sure how to do it. My other option was to pair both devices through Bluetooth but although both devices recognise each other the connection fails. Why? Any help would be much appreciated. I'm now running Windows 7.

You can only sync to outlook or yahoo.
Transfer them back to outlook and sycn with that.
