Default bb 8520. Why SMS icon opens Outbox folder??

hi
it might be easy for you but i am new...and i hava problem with my bb.

Suddenly my bb when i choose the sms&mms icon it opens the outbox folder!

As a result when i am resieving a new sms i can not see it str8 away. I need to go options/view folder/ Sms inbox.

apparently i have the same problem with emails.

can you please someone help me?[

that actually is working!!! Now i understand why they are saying that bb is more like pc. Need reboot...
