Default Stopped suggesting words

Please Login to Remove!

I have a 8530 and love it. First Blackberry.
I had my phone set to suggest words as I was typing. It worked great. All of a sudden it wouldn't any more. I check my custom dictionary and it had one entry and I'm sure it had a bunch at one time.
I don't know how it got erased but is there a way to get it back? Can I download a custom dictionary? Or is this even my problem? Is there a main dictionary?
Any help would be appreciated.

Did you do anything like disable the Word Suggestion or Predictive Text input?

Options > Language > Text Input...

Under spell check I have all boxes checked. But I'm not sure spell check has anything to do with suggest.
But in custom dictionary I have only one entry of "dn". No idea what happened or what dn even is.
In sms Text I have Disable Auto Text set to No.
It was working and I don't remember changing a setting but I could have.
Is the custom dictionary supposed to be empty and then fill as I use it? Or come with a set of words already there? Or is there another dictionary?

In Options>Language>Show Text Input Options I have all boxes checked which if I understand them right should turn on what I want.
