Default White screen that keeps showing up randomly

Please Login to Remove!

I've just got my BB Curve 8520 3 weeks ago and it started to act up this past one week :( I'm a new user by the way. Anyway, this white screen keeps coming up randomly when I'm in the middle of doing something like scrolling through pictures or exiting the browser and freezes the whole phone.

My BB also sometimes dies halfway when I'm taking a call. It's pretty frustrating. I've brought it into the shop where I bought it (I'm not on data plan) and the guy suggested to me to delete UberTwitter (which he thought may be causing the white screen and freezing problems) so I deleted it. My BB worked fine for one day then the next, the white screen came up again. I've tried battery pulling but my BB refuses to boot up when I insert the battery again.

The funny thing is, the BB restarts and works fine again when I plug it into my charger. I'm not sure what's happening and I don't really want my phone to spoil just as I've gotten it. Should I do a wipe on my BB and see if this resolves everything? Also, I'd kind of want to know what causes these white screens that randomly pop up and freezes my BB. I'd really appreciate it if anyone can offer any thoughts on this.
