Default Device Switch Wizard freezes

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to upgrade from a Palm Treo database to a BB 8520. There are roughly 5500 entries from all the different calender, address, etc., entries in the Palm database. The Switch Wizard makes it about 75% of the way, and stops at the same number every time (4431 of ~5500).

I had a similar situation a few years ago with a different phone and user, where there was a single entry in the Palm database that was making the transfer stop. I had the Wizard generate a log, and found the problem entry. After deleting it, the rest went fine , but that fix didn't work for this time!

I deleted entry 4431 and 4432, and it stopped at 4430. Deleted 4430 and 4433, and it stopped at 4429.
Maybe there is a limit to the number of data files that can be transferred?

Any other ideas about what could be causing this problem?
