Default BB8520 - problem with displaying pictures

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8520, coming from a 8300. When all the pictures were passed over the new 8520, only 4 pictures are visible (and I have over 20 inside). When the phone is plugged via USB to the PC, all pictures are displayed properly, but on the phone, they are not visible.

Why is this happening and how can I fix it? All pictures are somewhere in the SD card, but I cannot find them...

Try doing this on your computer; go to Control Panel, Folder Options and click the tab that says view, and in the list, select 'show hidden files and folders'.

Now plug your BB in and enable mass storage mode so that you can browse it. Then search the phone using the search facility in windows and search for 'bbthumbs.dat'. Once the search has completed select them all and delete.

Then unplug the phone and see if that allows you to view the pictures.
