Please Login to Remove!

is this fixable?
phone updated last night over the air (non pc connection)
this morning phone was dead,
pulled battery out for a bit, tried to fire up but keeps giving me
the error: JVM Error 505

then there is a little black "RESET" button below error code,

is the phone bricked?

It's probably not bricked.

Press reset. If the device reboots ok, continue on. Hopefully it won't happen again, at least not anytime soon.

If it doesn't boot and you end up back where you're at, which is what it sounds like, then the thing to do is wipe the device with JL_CMDER and then reinstall the operating system. The instructions you need are at BlackBerry FAQ - BlackBerryFAQ. Note that there are two article on JL_CMDER at the FAQ.
