| try logging in using wifi first On your Blackberry, if after you install Opera Mini 5.1 and try to open it and get "Installing..." and then "Unable to connect...":
Try opening Opera Mini 5.1 when you are connected via wifi first. It should work for you then. Once open, you can turn off wifi, and then go into "Settings" > "Advanced" > "Network Test..."
When you load a page, it should complete the Network Test and see that you're no longer on wifi. From then, you should be able to connect fine using the mobile network.
I suspect Opera Mini remembers the last connection method you were using before you re-installed the latest version and therefore only attempts that connection method, rather than running a proper connection network test.
This worked for me. |
