Exclamation Urgent Help Please :(

Hello there,

So just got a new blackberry yesterday. Best phone ive ever had, curve 8520. Plugged it into the computer first time today, added some music. All going well.

Some popup came up searching for updates, i allowed it to finish and went along with it and downloaded all the latest updates, Turned my phone back on.

And it's all changed, from BBM and texting looks alot different, pictures and media looks different. Its just changed more things than i thought it would and i want to change it back to how it was before when i first got it, The old version.

How do i go about doing this? Ive tried various resets and before i downloaded all this updated stuff it made a backup in my documents of:

LoaderBackup-(2010-08-04).ipd

ive tryed restoring that but it just does the database like texts and stuff, doesnt make it un-do the whole change.

So basically i need to somehow change it back to how it was about an hour ago before i updated it all.

Thanks in advance!!

Default

You will need to reinstall the OS that came with the BB. Check the CD that was in the box. Look at the yellow sticky at the top of the 8500 section for instructions.

You will then need to customize the screens as you did previously.

Do you have a backup? Make sure you do before you proceed.

And please do not double post. Once is enough.
