as the titles explains really. i can have my music on on my phone but when i receive a message on blackberry messenger it stops and i have to manually pause and play the track each time. is there a setting somewhere on the phone where this can be changed.

my friends doesnt stop when she gets a message it just beeps over the top. but she doesnt know why mine does it

I am facing the same problem. Earlier it used to work fine but off-lately this problem has appeared. Can anyone help regarding this?

Try a hard rest--With the power on, remove the battery for at least 30 seconds. See if that fixes the problem.

@aiharkness - Many thanks for that suggestion. It worked for me. I did try the battery pull but with the power off. Thanks a ton. I hope it works for others too.
