Hello - I will try to be as precise as possible. I recently was given- through my work - a Blackberry Curve 8520. Our IT person set up the corporate Outlook Express on this Blackberry. I wanted to add my personal e-mail also which I get through comcast.net.

I used the BB setup wizard and all it asked for was my e-mail address and password. I then had a new icon on the desktop for my comcast e-mail.

However - I am not receiving my comcast e-mail on the Blackberry. I am getting notification of comcast e-mails at the top of the screen but they are not showing up when I open the message icon.

As soon as the icon appeared I received an e-mail from Blackberry telling me to go to my Outlook settings and set the program to "leave e-mail on server". Unfortunately, there is no setting that I am able to find that says that on Outlook - possibly because it is a corporate account?

I have since removed the comcast account from my Blackberry using the Service Book (which I found on this forum).

Anyway, I hope this is understandable and that there is a solution. Thank you

Do you use outlook or similar email client to read your comcast email at home? If so, you need to edit that account setting to leave mail on the server - it is under the "advanced settings" tab if you use Outlook.

However, if this is a corporate device paid for by your firm, you might want to think about putting your personal email account on it. Many on here do not recommend doing that.
