Default problem after update

Please Login to Remove!

Hi there.

I just updated my mom's gemini 8520.

She is visiting from venezuela, and she was using her phone on wifi and UMA at my house's wifi with the antenna OFF without any problem. But after the upgrade the phone is not going on UMA anymore, stays on SOS as before but the wifi is not going ON that means no more emails or bbm on her phone.

How can i solve this issue?? please help is very urgent, she is a doctor and needs to communicate back to vzla

Thanks

Maybe you need to try to revert to the OS she was using?

Why did you update it? Was it broken?

i am trying to do that now. Downgrade it. But i was running on Desktop manager 6 and it was not letting me do it. i am installing 4.6 again to downgrade it and try again.

I just updated it because new versions should make the phone runs better.

will update the results soon.

Not necessarily so. The forum is full of upgrades that do crazy things to perfectly good and working BBs.

I always advise if the device isn't broken and is working as you want and need, there is no need to try to fix it. Let's hope your Mom isn't too upset with you.
