Default Issues with Headphones Jack

Hey , i have my phon blackberry 8520 for about 3 months. I started to realise my phone made a noise on its own sometimes. If im playing music it says my headset is in but its not, then it changes to speaker then back to headset. When im in a call it changes also. What can i do

plug and unplug about 15 times or more to see if the contacts clean up.

I have it happen to many models of phones.
