Default Curve 8520 freezes at startup with "tn55_rim_client_plugin" message

Please Login to Remove!

The 8520 Curve on ATT on booting up freezes with the Application permissions window and the following message: "Do you want to allow the application tn55_rim_client_plugin to receive sms messages?" I guess this app pertains to the Telenav application. The problem is that the device freezes at this screen every time i boot up. I did the Alt+Shift+Del reboot. The reboot happened but the device froze up again with the same Application Permissions window. Back to square one.

I am unable to do a "Wipe Handheld" due to this. When I connect the device to the system, the Device Manager is unable to connect to the device. The monitor shows "Connecting to the JVM" forever. I am willing to do a factory reset to get my device working.

Any help/ advice is appreciated.
Thanks

travis
