Angry BlackBerry tools CD

Please Login to Remove!

I recently bought a blackberry curve 8520, and have installed the program onto my laptop. When I go to the section of the program where you can transfer songs, photos and other media, it says I need to install from the CD. I try to install from the CD and then it tells me that there is no disc installed. Anybody having similar problems.

Yes I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software. I just found something out though. The place where I bought the phone from told me that it came with a memory card. So I let them install the battery and sim card. I guess they failed to tell me that the phone did NOT come with a memory card. So now, would that have anything to with my problem?

A memory card shouldn't have anything to do with it.

Do you have a BB data plan?

Yes I do have a BB data plan. I hope/assume we're talking about the 200mb per month plan.

I am talking about a specific BB data plan, not a generic one. I didn't know ATT had a 200 MB BB plan

Have you tried inserting the SD into your PC, copying the songs or whatever and then insert the SD into your BB?

I'll have to do some research. I was not aware there were different (BB vs generic) plans. I just know I asked for the 200mb per month plan. No I have not tried to copy the music directly onto the card from the computer. That's my next step.
