Hi im new to having a blackberry so i dont really have a clue.
the phone works fine calling out and sending text messages but the browser will not work the phone is currently on tesco.
when i put another sim card in it (example-orange) i get signal and it says on top of the screen orange but it will not ring out or i can not send text messages so what does this mean.
If you could let me know that would be great.
Kristan.

Do you have a BlackBerry Internet Data Plan from your phone service carrier?

Is the phone branded to Tesco? Or is it unlocked?

Read the user guide that came with the phone or download one from RIM and read out FAQ. that should get you started,

It has to be a BB data plan to get the RIM services.

See the FAQ: What do I need a Data Plan for? - BlackBerryFAQ
