Default e-mails from BB into sent folder

Please Login to Remove!

Hello (again!),

Can't you tell I'm new to BB's - keep asking daft questions

Can anyone tell me, is there a setting etc, I can choose that will save all the e-mails I send from my BB into my 'sent' folder?

I am not an enterprise user or anything like that - just a POP3 e-mail account and a BB!!

Thank in advance.

There may be an easier way to do this, but what I did was set up a second email account with my service provider and have my BB send a copy of all my outgoing emails to it. Then I setup Outlook to check this new account and move all the emails from it to my sent items folder. Works like a charm.

For POP3 accounts, this isn't possible.
You might consider switching to a different email provider, such as GMail, for this feature.
This table shows the features of each type of mail account you can link to your device:

Just log in to your BIS or the Email Settings thick client depending on the OS version the device and set up an Auto BCC: to yourself. Then use a rule in your email client to move them from the inbox to the sent box or move them manually.
