Default BB 8530 and Ford Sync problem

Please Login to Remove!

I have an 8530 and use it with my Ford Sync system in my car. It works great except for one thing. When I exit my car, the BB does not stop playing my music. Even if I turn of the radio before exiting, unless I go to my media on my BB and manually close the app, it will run all day and use up my battery. Any suggestions on what I can do to fix this? I can't get any help from Ford Sync on this problem. Thanks.

Moved to the 8500 section.

Sounds to me like you solved the problem yourself. You need to close the app to get it to stop. It won't stop by itself.

I have a roughly similar problem with a slight difference: after listening to Sirius Radio (free for 6 months), when I turn off the ignition and exit the car, my 9700 spontaneusly begins to play from my 2-song playlist.
