Hi, my friend just give a Blackberry 8520 with vendor ID 609. Which telco's device software should I download/install?

609 Brightpoint Singapore/MPulse/DiGi/Docomo Pacific (Google is your friend)

You can install any carrier's OS. Go to the yellow sticky at the top of the 8500 section and select an OS for the 8520. Follow the instructions EXACTLY and be patient. It can take an hour or longer to update. The OS is device specific. And don't forget to delete the vendor.xml file.

And please update your profile to indicate the correct device that you are using.
