Question Latest OS: 8520 5.0.0.103 - Battery Icon

Please Login to Remove!

I've just updated to the above after receiving a message that the update was available when I connected to the BB Desktop s/w.

After updating, firstly, I lost everything; calendar entries, contacts, BBM list, Memo details, etc. I managed to restore these from backups but have noticed one more issue. My battery icon does not say the battery is charging when the BB is plugged in both via USB and mains. I have done a hard reset and it still does not appear to be charging. I am hoping it still is, but as yet cannot see any change in the level indicator.

Can anyone offer any help please?
Thank you

ADDED:
I can confirm it is charging - phew.
Any ideas why the icon doesn't change to indicate it is charging?

Thanks
