Default Altering default screen icons?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi all,

I have the 8520 which comes with the standard theme only. I don't want to install a new theme, I just want to change the icons which appear at the bottom of the screen by default.

They are:

Mail
Contacts
Diary
Browser
Media
Maps

I'd like to replace the Browser/Media/Maps icons and have shortcuts to BBM, Camera and Applications instead.

Can anyone confirm that this can or cannot be done?

If not is there a replacement theme which has these shortcuts instead?

Many thanks!

Just load a new theme. Why are you opposed to that?

Of course you can change them.
Press MENU to get to the screen with all the application icons.
Notice the TOP line is the same icons as one the front screen.
Move whichever icons you want to that top line to have them show on the screen.

To move an icon, scroll to it, MENU - MOVE [or if it's in a subfolder MENU - MOVE TO FOLDER - HOME] scroll to where you want it, and click.
