internet problem

Right now I'm on the computer posting this. every single time I try to go on the internet with my bb it never works. All it does is put a blank white screen on my phone and the loading bar is full. why does it not work? :-(

Do you have a BlackBerry Data Plan (not a regular Internet plan) on your account?

Have you removed the battery and put it back in (always step one in BB troubleshooting).
If so, what does it show in the upper right hand corner (edge, EDGE, 3g, 3G)?

GPRS and below that it says wifi
