I have seen alot of slowness when I first loaded it when I go to the pictures or ringtones it does take a while to load I get the hour glass constantly..

But the options are well worth the wait. Also has anyone noticed their phone being louder when on a call I had to turn mine almost all the way down.

I can now listen to voicemails sent from the PBX via email to my phone. So no more dialing in to figure out who called.. Great time saver!!

Getting .wav voice mails to play makes this worth the upgrade, but has anyone else had problems with the "today" themes? My old ones don't work, and neither do the 4.2 specific ones that I have downloaded.

So I was trying to load a 4.2 theme, it shows in the list but wont activate beyond the zen and icon on there now. Any reason why? I had the original plazmic theme reader loaded on there which isnt needed now I thought. So I deleted that off and still unable to activate them.

Any good direction for this?

Same here... running a VZW 8703e with 4.2. Only default themes are showing up. I've Tried IBERRY by mrogers for 8700 devices running 4.2 and have had no joy as well. thanks mrogers great looking stuff. wish I could get it to run on my rig

did any of you notice the 4.2.2 on the themes you were trying to use? It may be that it may not be but worth investigating.

I installed the latest Desktop software. I went to Computer, C drive, RIM, then clicked the file folder Blackberry RIM but I cant fing vender.xml file to delete. I have Vista. Any help?

I use 2 PCs for my blackberry. If I upgrade to 4.2 on one PC can I use the DM on the other PC without installing the upgrade?

ok I hooked up blackberry and opend desktop software but was not prompted to upgrade?

it says the desktop software is 4.2 but when i run application loader it only has 4.1 should i have deleted the old desktop manager befor installing the new?

Was it DM 4.2 SP2 ??

I deleted all the _vendorID instances from blackberry.alx and I still only have Dimension Icon, Dimension ZEN and Verizon themes. Anyone else get the other themes to work?
