Default call saying unknown - 11-06-2007, 04:23 PM
I have a friends number in the phone book and the sim card. This person has not blocked their number but for some reason its coming up unknown number when they call me.

Do you have "smart dialing" set at

Phone Dialer > Options > Smart Dialing

Put +1 in your smart dialing, and your area code...

Take the entry off the SIM card and see if that helps.
Why do you even have it on the SIM card?

I have everything copied to the sim card. one time when I didn't I put the card into a new phone and lost a lot of numbers.

so follow the instructions above, make sure YOUR area code is entered, and smart dialing set
