Default Anyone tried the 8300.... - 11-06-2007, 09:13 PM

and gone back to the 8700? I am trying out an 8310, but just can't pull the trigger. Keep thinking about my trusty 8700c. Just curious if anyone else has made the decision to stay with the 8700?

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830: BlackBerry8830/4.2.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

What is your reasoning?

I love my 8700. But I am trying to decide between 8300 and 8800 devices

Honestly, I like the larger keyboard and form factor. Guess I've stereotyped the BB as an 8700 and the 8310 seems somewhat small. Love the GPS and some of the other things that are in the 8310. Have had a wonderful 2 year relationship with the 8700 and am having trouble letting go I suppose.

Smile 8700 vs. 8300 - 11-07-2007, 08:47 PM

You can not beat the 8700...Just bought my office manager the 8300, and it is a fine work of art....lots of bells and whistles....buttttttt

I don't take pictures, I don't play music and games.....I do however use e-mail, calander and phone and you simply can not beat the 8700 for these functions....

I had a few minutes of hesitation to move from my 8700c to the 8310. This was before I had all of my info on the 8310 to compare apples to apples. Once I had it all moved over, and I went on my first trip with the 8310, I have never looked back.

I do agree, I miss the larger keyboard, but after a few days, I was over it.

I still use the 8700c ... as a spare battery charger!
