Unhappy Receive delay after BES 4.1.4 upgrade - 11-07-2007, 06:56 AM

Sorry - reposted in BES Admin Forum

---------------------------
Hi.

We upgraded our BES to 4.1.4 to enable HHs to open Office 2007 files. There is now a constant delay on HHs receiving email - normally up to 10 mins after the user mailbox receives the email. Seems to be just a receive delay as sending from HH unaffected. Using Exchange 2000.

Anyone else had this?

Thanks
Andy

I dunno what HHs are, but when we went to 4.1.4 we discovered mail being delivered to outlook first from Exchange 2007 and a 5-15 second delay then to Blackberrys.

This isn't the right place to post this as it should go in the BES Corner. I also asume you have the $4000 patch for Exchange 2000 or you guys don't use the Calendar.

I've reposted in Admin

HH = handhelds. Saw someone else use HH here so thought it was expected

We've got away without the patch - don't think it's such a problem in UK
