PLEASE....

can someone remind me how to change list order of Icons on desktop,

I think in themes, when I select any of them with 'list' in the title,
will allow me to organise its contents

I know it can be done, I've done it before, so know its somehow possible

Highlight an icon then hold down ALT and click the Trackwheel. This will bring up a menu with options for moving the icon. Once you have moved it to the desired location, simply press the Enter key.
