On the faq it said open desktop manager and then go to media manager but i dont have that option on the desktop manager.How can i add some pictures from my computer to bb?

In order to use media manager you need OS 4.2 on the device. You can upgrade your device and the desktop Manager software here:

If you don't want to do that then the only way is to email the pictures to yourself and then save them.

i do have OS 4.2..
