Question Help needed please - cant set up email - 01-16-2008, 12:58 PM

Was a BB user in my company for long. Now just bought on ebay an 8700g unlocked but it seems set up for enterprise server. Is there a way to set it up so that i can just read my outlook mails? (I'm not working for my company anymore) - TX for any help

if you pay for the blackberry internet service you can log into your carrier BIS site and setup your email

Wipe the phone. Go to options..security..push whell on general settings..push wheel again select wipe handheld.

This will wipe out any IT policy in place.

Contact your wireless provider and make sure you have the blackberry service on your account then use setup wizard to setup an email account.

Wipe will not remove the IT Policies.

Check the FAQ: Remove IT Policy - BlackBerryFAQ.com

Also make sure you read the FAQ as it iwll answer many of your questions, especially the section onbuying a used BB on ebay. Same info applies to any and all used BBs. Also use the search feature.
