sir,

i am very new to Blackberry world...

i got a piece that it shows only the timing symbol and restarts...

not getting on...

what i have to do.....

I'm not sure what symbol your talking about, would help alot if you linked a picture, make sure the blackberry is charged.

Do you mean the hourglass? My 8700 would show the hour glass and restart when it got low on memory, ie too many emails with attachments, saved pictures, or installed apps. The mobile gmail application pretty much killed my 8700 if I left it running in the background.

Sounds like you can't even get the blackberry started to check memory, etc.
