Greetings everyone. Just bought a Blackberry 8700g.
Ive downloaded the latest desktop manager and everything seem to work just fine.

Except for the Roxio Media Manager. It will not detect my device.
It is asking me to connect a device (bb) to the computer. It is.

Any ideas? Your time in helping is greatly appreciated.

You need to make sure the your BB is running OS 4.2.1 or higher. I do not believe that Roxio works with the older OS (It didn't on mine). Go to "Options / About and see what the 3rd line (OS) says. If it is 4.1 or older you need to upgrade your OS. Check elsewhere on this forum for instructions on how to do this 73

yeah it didnt work with my 8700C until i upgraded to 4.2......

Thanks for your response. I got rid of the desktop 4.3 version and installed the 4.2 sp2. My current OS is v4.1.0.346

Here is where im confused. I have dodson celluar one and there last os version is 4.1.0.529. I dont believe my provider has a 4.2 version.

Is it possible to use another cell phone provider's OS?
