Default How do I add photo as desktop wallpaper on 8703? - 01-19-2008, 08:18 AM

How do I take an image file and make it the desktop wallpaper. In other words, the photo would show up in the background on the 8703?

Please let me know. Thanks.

Email the image to your BB, save the pic in the media section and set as wallpaper.

If the image is already on the blackberry, navigate to it, click on it, then select Set As Home Screen Image. But note it would be best if the image is appropriatley sized for the blackberry screen. If not, you'll probably want to edit it.

I just did this and the top 1/2 of the photo is cut off. How do I size the image for the blackberry screen?

Is it cut off by the banner at the top, or is it just white because it's too small?

If it's the banner, you'll have to switch to another theme.

If it's too small you can either resize it on your pc to 320x240, or select the image on the device, zoom in until it fills the screen from the menu, and then set it as the wallpaper.

Almost any photo or image editor will work. You may need to experiment a bit
