Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8703e/4.1.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/105)

I need some help. I press the send key to open the dial screen, and then like usual I start typing someones name that I have in my address book. Nothing happens. The only keys that are working in this screen are the number keys. What have I done wrong?

Hold down the 'alt' key and press a letter - this only works though on the number keys. All of the other letters should work just by pressing them unless there are no entries in your address book that start with that letter.

doesn't work...I've never had this happen before. I've just always started typing away and it pulls up the names in my address book. Do I have some option turned off?

Try a hard reboot - with device on remove the battery for 10 seconds and then put it back in.
