Default HELP!!! 8700 Keeps rebooting - 01-27-2008, 03:20 AM

Need serious help

I have installed a new theme using the application loader. My BB restarted and is now in an infernal rebooting loop. I have tried everything:

ALT-CAP-DEL
Removing the battery for 2 hours
Using the JL_Cmder to wipe and reset

I just can't communicate with the damn thing. It reboots too quickly. The second I put the bateery back in it just goes on and on again :(

I am about to do a very hard reset with a hammer

Wirelessly posted (BlackBerry8800/4.2.1 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100)

In the blackberryfaq there is an instruction what to do when your BB won't connect give that a try

Wondering what and where you got the new Theme. Might be a good one to avoid

Default Almost there - 01-28-2008, 12:19 AM

Well, it seems I can now communicate with my BB.

But I am getting when the loader comes up:

"The Blackberry desktop Sofware does not have Blackberry Desktop Software for the device that you have connected to the computer"

I want on Blackberry.com and downlaoded the lastest Desktop software but I am still getting this message.

Help

You also need to download and install the Device OS software to the PC along with Desktop Manager.

Default yeah!!! - 01-28-2008, 02:39 AM

Thanks , it's working. YOU SAVED MY SANITY!!!

But since I live in the twilight zone, my provider was not listed. Just took another one and was able to restore my BB.

Have a severe withdrawl case (36 hours without my BB).

I tried to load the theme again just for fun (now that I know how to restore it) and it crashed again so be aware of this one:
