Before I updated the handheld software to 4.2.1.96 from (???), I would be able to scroll vertically in any message I was editing. Now, when I scroll up, the cursor appears at the end of the line instead of directly one line up. I know if I use push alt once, I'll get it to scroll one character back. From there I can scroll directly up/down. Is there a scroll setting to get it back to what it used to be?

I upgraded the handheld so that I could wirelessly sync the contacts/calandar.

I had cursor scrolling issues in browser starting with 4.1, but never in messages. Mine scrolls straight up and down from current cursor location. Have you tried hard reset?
