"To add an application that does not appear in the list, click Add. Double-click the application loader .alx or .ali file."

I guess i dont understand this statement cause only applications with .alx or .ali extension are the ones that show up. what application loader am i supposed to click?

When you use application loader and browse to the .alx and add it, the .alx file tells Desktop Manager to load the associated .cod. All you have to do is make sure the .cod is in the same folder and the .alx/desktop manager will do the rest.

Just make sure you put the .alx and associated .cod into the same folder. Then use the "add" feature in application loader and browse to the .alx. That will add the app in the list of applications. If it says no applications for your device are found then you'll need to do this:

When you say, "it didn't work" what do you mean? What is the error message you receive?

If you have an .alx without a .cod then, no, it won't work.
