I am trying to use an 8707 to access a secure SharePoint site, of the form

https:\\wss.****

and get the error "Unuspported authentication scheme".

Is there any way to get this to work?

Probably not. I administer FrontPage websites (among other things) and you need to haver the FrontPages Extensions installed to access SharePoint. I played with this problem for a while in hopes of dealing with web issues form my BB but could never get it to work. Since the FrontPage Extensions are serverside, I don't see how you could implement this on a local basis without a major software effort. .. 73
