Default keyboard lock - 02-13-2008, 09:40 AM

i installed the latest firmware on my 8700 and for some reason everytime i reboot the device it goes into keyboard lock. I looked everywhere and cant find where or if i can disabled it.

Holster lock is set to off so thats fine but everytime i have to reboot it it goes right to locked. not sure if its normal or not

anyone?

installed: T-Mobile_BlackBerry_8700_v4.2.1.107

That is interesting. This is happening after every battery pull?

yea first time ive ever seen this happen. most of our devices are 8800's now so i thought it was maybe a specfic setting on this particular 8700 model.

i installed the firmware and as soon as it rebooted it went into locked keyboard, i pulled the battery and everytime it does the same.

Was this happening before the OS update? I've never used an 8700 model personally, so I don't know too much about them.

Would it be possible to revert back to the old OS and test this theory out?
