Well, I've searched damned near everywhere to try to figure out this problem - and I haven't seen the answer anywhere. SO!
I use a blackberry 8700g - and I use it as a wireless modem. The download speed isn't half bad - sometimes i break the 30kbps barrier. Considering I already had a phone and the only internet that's available to me is dial up - it's a big step up from what I had.
Now. I use my internet as usual - but I've a problem when it comes to file sharing. I've tried using various filesharing programs - but only two have worked (and I'm not sure the second one counts). I use "Frostwire" A knock-off free version of limewire, and the various bit-torrent programs all work - though some torrents work better then others.
I'm of the impression that I'm behind some sort of firewall or some ports are blocked or something. However, I've no idea how to port-forward a blackberry

or if it's even possible. I
do know I can access these programs - as I've used frostwire extensively in the past. My problem is all these other programs (including a few online games that are unable to auto-update because of it >.<) keep saying that I'm behind a firewall or router.
PLEASE help. Besides this ONE point - the blackberry is fantastic. It's saved me from a dismal life of cruising the net at a speed of 5kpbs. Anything anyone can do to help would be appreciated. I'll be checking this regularly. *nod*
