Default Help with MMS - 03-01-2008, 05:25 PM

Hi,
Is there a way to manually enter settings for MMS messaging on the 8700? I tried registering through my phone provider, but the have no auto config for the BB, and can't find the MMS settings under the options menu.

Thanks

Do you have a BB data plan?

What OS are you running?

no bb data plan but just regular data plan. O.S 4.2
Since MMS does require generic plan (at least on regular cell phones), so I don't think i need data plan to use MMS on a BB

Makedonce-

Hey I jsut wanted to let you know with T-Mobile the default MMS setting on a blackberry aren't always congfured properly. I dont know what error you are getting but if it is telling you to log on to tmobile.com or somthin along those lines to view the pictures you have to send 2 picture messages to yourself. On the 8700 I woul take one of the pictures that is automatically on the phone and then send it to yourself. You shoould get the error again. On the second send you should be able to see the message. I hope this helps. I am not sure about ATT&T but maybe that will work too guys. Not promising anything, but i do know this is one way to fix this.
