Cool reply works but new email address doesn't - 03-30-2008, 02:41 PM

hi

i have en BPS/BES enviroment on which i have a 8800 and a 8700 device

on the 8800 everything goes fine but on the 8700 i can reply to emails messages but when i try to send a message to a new email address it refuses to sent the message

can anyone help me ?

First, try a hard reset. That will likley fix things. If not, try resending service books.

ADDED: on second look, I see you are on BES. If hard reset doesn't work, you'll probably need to talk to your BES admin.

tried everything but no success

i am the bes admin

any suggestions where to look ? i've verified the right on the mailboxes and everything but it all seems to be ok

Sorry, I don't know BES. Hopefully someone will come along. You would have better response, I think, if you had posted in the BES subforum. You would get more of the right eyes on your post.

Another option may be to look at options-security options and click firewall and change settings if needed. It is my understanding that both BES and BIS have this feature.
