I had my 8703e replaced, and I had a few questions:
1. My Settings used to be on the Home Screen and now I have to go to Options/Settings....but how can I get just Settings back on the Home Screen?
2. My Memo Pad used to be on the Home Screen and now I have to go to Tools/Memo Pad....but how can I get just Memo Pad back on the Home Screen?
3. I have set the Front convergence key to Keyboard Lock. I was able to (on my first 8703e) to hit the side track wheel once, and then again to unlock. Now when I hit the track wheel, I have to hit * and the Green key on the front. How can I change it back to just double clicking the track wheel?

Sounds like you're using a different theme than you were originally.
Go to Settings > Options > Theme, and choose the theme you had prior to the device replacement.

Same theme...the Verizon default

Maybe a different software version on your 8703e? Were you previously running 4.2 and now you're back to 4.1 ... or vice versa?

What does the version say in Options > About?

I'd say OP was using 4.1 and is now on 4.2 that's what everything points to
