Default BB lose signal sometime - 04-16-2008, 11:05 PM

Hi friends, I'm a newbie in this forum and learned a lot from posts. Now i need help from you.

I have a user own a 8707g , he sometimes experience lost signal converge, so both BES & phone call are not available.

Although pull out battery did help resolve the issue, but maybe missed several important calls or email already before he find out issue.

Any workaround to get rid of the problem?

Thanks,

Jack

Welcome to the forums

This could be due to many different reasons. Could be a coverage issue in the area. It could be an issue with the hardware or an issue with the software. Compare to another device in the same location on the same network. If the other device doesn't lose coverage, then maybe wipe the OS and reload it. If that still doesn't help then it may likely be defective hardware.

Thanks John for your comment.

The signal lost randomly happened during these 2 months, it was ok before, rarely coverage issue i think.

I will find out how to reload OS and reactive it.

You have to talk to your carrier about this issue.
