Default New email account & hotmail - 04-22-2008, 02:57 AM

I have BB 8700 and would like to know how I could add an extra email account (apart from my workplace already configured). Secondly, can I receive my hotmail emails as well, like what I used to receive with my windows mobile.

What i know, if it is the free Hotmail, you may not receive it on your device. It seems free hotmail has POP3 disabled.

You can add another email address just like the way you added the workplace email. Go to the Email Settings Icon on your BB, and follow the instructions

Wirelessly posted (Verizon 8830)

Hotmail usually only works if you get their premium acct.

Are you using a company supplied BB and on a company BES? If so, it is always best to keep your personal stuff off of the company BB. In addition, there could be a company IT Policy which doesn't allow it. A quick chat with your BES Admin or IT Staff would answer the question.
