Exclamation Blackberry Sorting New Messages at Bottom of inbox with older items on top - 04-24-2008, 05:49 PM

I've got an 8700c Blackberry that "all of a sudden" is sorting NEW messages at the bottom of OLDER (dated) messages. Actually, they are coming into my Messages folder at the VERY bottom of all the other exsisting emails.

I've fixed issues like this in the past by modifying the date/time/location but this did not fix the issue on this phone. I have access to the BES server and the user is about 100 miles away. Whatd'ya guys suggest?

She's running the latest english O.S. on her phone. 4.2.196 Anyway, do any of you power users out there know how to get her new incoming messages "flip flopped" and back to the top again?

Much thanks to any and all intelligent replies!

make sure to check the date/time of the device and make sure it is current. if she set the date into the future existing messages on the device would show before the newer messages.

I thought same as Sith when I started reading, got to that part, and scratched my head. I imagine everyone else did same, and that's why lack of response.

I thought the same thing..check the date.

What happens if you change the date to sometime in the future, save it and then set it to the correct date?

Yeah, I tried doing resetting it back to "CasaBlanca" time (default) and setting it back to PST time. No go.. I tried "reloading user" and sending the user policy back to the users B.B. I think I might just have to delete her profile and start a fresh one (whipe handheld also).

Thanks anyway guys!
